By accessing or using Notification Zero ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Notification Zero is an email management service that allows you to automate actions on your Gmail account, including marking emails as read, archiving, and deleting emails based on your configured schedules and filters.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Gmail Access and Permissions

By connecting your Gmail account, you grant us permission to:

  • Access your Gmail account via Google's OAuth API
  • Perform actions you configure (mark as read, delete, archive)
  • View email metadata (sender, subject, date) for filtering purposes

Important: We do NOT read or store the content of your emails. You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting your account in our dashboard.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Free Tier

The free tier allows you to connect 1 email account with basic functionality. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

  • Monthly ($3/month): Billed monthly, cancel anytime
  • Lifetime ($20 one-time): One-time payment for lifetime access

5.3 Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings

5.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied within the first 7 days of purchase, contact us for a full refund. After 7 days, all sales are final.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service in a way that violates Google's Terms of Service

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard protections.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Data will never be lost (though we implement backups)

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Actions performed on your Gmail account as configured by you

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease immediately
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days
  • No refunds will be provided for remaining subscription time (except within the 7-day guarantee period)

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
